I am already bidding on it. I'm in the cents, but I set the max to $30. So if know one bids I pay $30. Is this worth it. It has a cracked screen and severely damaged housing.

If you are willing to fix it then it is NOT worth it. If you are willing to restore it to its perfect condition than it is worth it.

I am willing to restore it. How much is it worth at least?

Im buying a 4gb. It's unlocked. I didn't have to be, I could have unlocked it. But I couldn't find one that wasn't unlocked.

The thing still works. Set max at 40 now.

It has 4 days left -_-

I'd go for a 3G instead. Use the 30... I mean 40 bucks, for buying a newer iteration of the iPhone. Preferrably the 3G, if not the i4.

I don't want the 3g, or 4. The first is the best for me. Besides, I have an enve touch as my phone? I just wanted the iphone to experiment with. I could use a prepaid sim card if I wanted to make calls.

$40 + $20 + $7 = $67 thats about what you want to spend. Why not try finding a better condition iPhone 2G for about $70. On eBay its more expensive but craigslist they might have better prices.

If you have to do a bunch of repairs yourself, I don't think it's worth it. Plus, you run the risk of damaging it even more so you'd be wasting money.

One is really nice but the other (the one I posted) is not that good. Good enough. Besides, I've been repairing ipod touches for a while. Screens, housings, home buttons, power buttons, all that stuff.

Who would want a 2G iPhone. There's nothing on it.

Um, a lot of people do, actually.

OP: I'm looking to buy one myself, but I haven't found any new ones (there are indeed new ones) at a reasonable price yet. The one you found might be worth it if you can fix it up.
