I asked today to the developers of an app called WifiPad, which allows you to use your iDevice as a gamepad for your PC, Mac or Linux (coming soon)

I asked them if they could provide a beta version of the app, and they answered that they would also need to update the app, and that the Application Accpetance Process, or something like that takes too much to complete.

Then i answered that they could put it on cydia, and they answered me that if they did, they could get their developer license revoked.

    Is this true?

Do you need to get that 99$ license to make anything?

If so, how come there exist so many things in cydia?

Part of the deal is that you can't use the iPhone SDK to create applications that will be distributed anywhere other than the AppStore.

You need not pay $99 to develop solely for the jailbreak community.
