Today, apple was in court (or something) trying to make jailbreaking illegal...Is it true that even if you DFU restore, some Apple geek at the apple store can find out if you have jailbroken even if you DFU restored and stuff?

What if they release some firmware in the future, which has like customization options but what they dont tell you is they released some log thing in the firmware update which automatically checks if you have jailbroken?

if they wanted too , they could shut down every ipod touch/ iphone throughout the world or atleast the ones who dont have killswitch disabled (96%) . apple has the power over their devices, but they dont have the time for something like that ^

You have obviously never gone to get an ipod or iphone replaced. If there is no obvious sign of it being jailbroken they could give a crap.

Oh yeah, do they replace iPods if something VERY minor is wrong with it? Say, a corner pushes down or something

If you jailbreak your iPod and then you restore it, can you get it replaced at an Apple store?

I thought Apple wanted to be more free and sh*t and not look like IBM or Microsoft it doesn't sound like if they're different from the rest
