Yes you definitely should buy the new ipod touch for many reasons
    1. 2 cameras, front and back
    2. A4 chip/processor
    3. Its fixed everything that was wrong with previous ipods, well most problems
    4. Jailbreakable via Greenp0ison and SSH and Cyder work for it was as well
    5. Why not?

^Agreed completely, plus to test out its graphics on the retina display just download the app "Epic Citadel" and you will see how great it is.

    1. It's a great device... Don't get tripped up by the people complaining about light leaks. It doesn't stop it from functioning correctly.
    2. Fast processor, sufficient RAM, improved graphics, dual cameras, Retina display (You have to see it to experience it)... The list goes on.
    3. Yes, it's worth it's price.
    4. It is able to be jailbroken, and pwned4life

    iPod touch 4th Gen

    Pros:

    • Thin, sleek design and the largest display available on an iPod.
    • Clever multi-touch interface works well on the high-resolution 960x640 "Retina" display.
    • FaceTime videoconferencing support with dual video cameras.
    • Built-in microphone and speaker makes it (finally!) truly suitable for Skype/VOIP calls.
    • Only iPod with support for wireless Internet (Wi-Fi) as well as the thousands of iOS applications and games.
    • Sophisticated "VoiceOver" gesture-based screen reader for the visually impaired.
    • The best battery life of any iPod model for music playback.
    • Not tied to a monthly service plan like the iPhone.

    Cons:

    • Only 256 MB of RAM (the iPhone 4 has 512 MB of RAM and faster performance for some tasks as a result).
    • 960x640 "Retina" display does not have IPS technology and is lower quality than the one used by the iPhone 4.
    • Rear camera is approximately one megapixel, considerably lower quality than the five megapixel camera provided by the iPhone 4. It does not have an optical zoom either.
    • No GPS or digital compass.
    • Cannot charge via Firewire, incompatible with many Firewire-based accessories.
    • More expensive than the iPod classic per megabyte of storage.

Completely worth it. Have had mine for couple weeks and I still can't put it down. Some word of advice...jailbreak it.
