    Hi,

I've bought an Ipod Touch 3g 8gb, and I'm wondering about jailbreaking it, and I've researched everything about it, so...

I understand that firmware 3.1.2 at the moment can only be jailbroken with blackra1n and is a tethered jailbreak.
But I've read that the iPT 3g 8g is the same in hardwares as the 2gs except that it supports voice controlling, and I've wondered if it's the same in hardwares...

Isn't it possible to downgrade the iPT 3g 8gb to a lower firmware (like 3.0 or 3.1.1)? so you can jailbreak it with an untethered jailbreak... Or you can't because of the MB and MC model thing?

no you can't downgrade your firmware lower than it cam from the factory so if yours came with 3.1.1 then you cant downgrade below it. if you upgrade then you can downgrade back if you want but still only to 3.1.1
