Can apple boot the iPod out of recovery mode like redTool can? Because I am jailbroken, and right now, it's literally impossible to restore, it either gives me error 1604, 13, my iPod will only stay in DFU mode for like 15 seconds unless I run iRecovery and do some commands, but then when I restore it gives error 1604 and stays at the apple logo, I've done a whole crap load of work trying to fix it, even deleting files in the hidden folders, still, no luck.

I'm sending my iPod to apple, hoping they can just restore, and not see it was jailbroken...

Is there anyway they can boot my iPod out of recovery/DFU mode and see that it's jailbroken?...Thanks for any answers I get.

Have you tried clearenv 1 and/or setenv; set auto boot true; saveenv?

Well I'm not sure but Apple might still be able to run a diag on it.

    Do this:
    Code:
    irecovery -f ibss211.dfu

    unplug and replug iPod

    irecovery -s

    clearenv 1

    saveenv

    reboot
    See if that helps.

As in the pre-jailbreak? It's been a long time since I did anything manually...
