Hi! I have first generation, jailbroken iPod, and i wanted to update with custom firmware again using Quickfreedom (i know how to use it, i have done it with a 2nd gen) anyways, i was wondering if i HAVE to update it 2.2.1 then jailbreak, or leave it in its jailbroken 1.1.4 state, put it into DFU mode, then run Quickfreedom. Can anbody help me?

You don't use quickfreedom. You can use quickpwn

Update to 2.2.1 the you have to use QuickPwn, not QuickFreedom.

I'd feel much better using quickfreedom cause i know how to use it, but i could try quickpwn. But is it ok to leave it in its current jailbroken 1.1.4 state, or do i have to update then jailbreak?

    EDIT: Thanks Nburnes

EDIT 2: One more question, whats the best way to update it to 2.2.1? I dont have $10 to spare....
