Alright, we all know the problem with iPod Touch 3g JB, that for now it's tethered.

But say we go somewhere, without our main computer, and it dies. How do we get out of recovery without blackrain?

So is there a way to put it on a thumbdrive? I know there is iTunes portable, but is there someway to add the quicktime files and blackrain?

Or maybe someone already knows a way to get around this mess.

Sure. You just throw BlackRain.exe onto a flash drive, upload it to a computer, and it should work.

Yep, just make sure you have both versions on there, just in case.

But how can I just throw blackrain on there? It needs every file.

The problem is with quicktime and/or itunes.

If I bring all the quicktime files I have on my laptop, onto the flash drive, and then blackrain, and try to use blackrain to untether it, well blackrain just crashes when you click make it rain.

So is there something I'm missing?Blackrain doesn't need all the files or am I using the wrong version or?

    What files does it need?

When you install all your applications(Itunes/blackrain/quicktime) choose the flash drive to install

You need itunes installed on your computer, otherwise, it won't work.
