Is it possible to play someone on the same server on the same network in call of duty

    I want to play against my brother on the same router on a server on call of duty 4, but it wont let us. Is there a way we can play together?

    Please help!

    im not 100% sure, but i think the only way you can do this these days are if you are on the same console. With the way they do matchmaking now it is near impossible for two different users to play together unless already grouped.

    Playing on PC yes you can play the same server. Just make sure you're using 2 different cd keys. Or if you're using the same cd key, dont play on a pb server.

    Depends if you playing on sh*tbox 360. You can't play splitscreen CoD4 online on 360. Not sure about Ps3 or PC, most likely PC is the same as any other game.
