Is it possible to make the app store...

    Is it possible to make the app store think i am an iphone/ipod touch 2g user?
    Because their is an app i want but it is only for those two

    why does it matter ur description says that u got a 32bg 2g so just use that.

    but i have no idea how or if its possible to do this

    Ummm that's a decent question actually I'm not a coder/developer or anything but I can bet that there is a plist somewhere which allows you into tricking the appstore into believing you're on a 2g instead of a 1g. But don't take my word for it I'm just going off of the probability of the said situation if I am wrong someone please correct me.

    eve if u manage that, the app will not lauch...the coding for 2.x and 1.x is totally diff

    He means the 1st generation iPod Touch And the 2nd generation iPod Touch not the firmwares. The Appstore wasn't on the 1.xx's.......

    Yes it was necessary. The OP is spreading lies about an extremely important developer who has ported almost ALL of the emulators available to iPhoneOS. Hes been extremely sick lately to boot.
