Like you would make a shortcut to a program on Windows, I am looking for the ability to make a shortcut to an iPhone App... This has been posted once before but was never answered so I am going to ask it again.

Like the kind of shortcut I just described, is it possible to make a shortcut to an app, in that that you could have 2 or more of the icon for the app, but all linking to the same app?

I ask this because I want two camera icons, one for my dock and one for my home page..

Well if you have one for your dock, that stays on everypage, why do you need it on your homepage?

I want it there for the looks, and to take up the empty space that the camera took.

... and help make the sickest theme to comme even sicker....

see I would need about 5 links to the last 4 apps on the dock

Install SpringJumps from Cydia. Then SSH and duplicate the 0_page springjump 5 times for each page and then put 5 of them (for the dock icons) per page. Once the user clicks on the spingjumps, they go to page 0 where the real icons are, they click on the icon again and it opens the app. Sorta like a double-click.

Just an idea, hope it makes sense to you.

I know, try making a copy of MobileMusicPlayer (or whatever) and name it to like MobileMusicPlayer2 or something. Haven't tested this yet, but good luck!

I have tried that too (a few days ago)... I also modded the .plist....
    it did not work...
I'll try not modding the info.plist....... maybe that will work

    EDIT
nope does not work.... the icon doesn't even show up... and the app crashes...
    both ways

Not to be mean, but this kind of got off topic to your problem... I still need to get a shortcut to my Camera app...
