I would love to try out Android on a mobile device instead of a virtual machine, and I was wondering if it was possible on a 2nd generation MB 8GB iPod Touch running the iOS 4 Gold Master? And also, is doing it something that can easily be changed back to iOS and can it badly damage the touch? Also, is it difficult to install? Thank you

Installing it is complex and has alot of steps unless you have a mac.

Is there a link to a guide, and I assume it's easier on a mac then. (I'd need a Windows Guide)

At the moment, the MB model will never be usable with Android.

OpeniBoot hasn't been ported to the 2G iPod touch yet so you can't put android on it yet.

Android is not possible for Ipod Touch 2g, 2g mc, and 3g!
Ipod Touch 2g (non-MC) will come within a few weeks or so.
Since there is an exploit in the bootrom, it is possible to create OpeniBoot for this device.
The 2G MC, and 3G are jailbreakable, but they don't have a bootrom exploit.
They just have a userland exploit (which every 3.1.3 fw's has)
