Is it possible to get Wifi from a mac hardwired to the internet source.

    so that may have been confusing let me clear things up if it was. My mac is hardwired to an internet source that i cant get wifi from but i was wondering if i could turn my mac into sort of a wifi hotspot and get wifi from the mac onto my itouch

    Click System Preferences, then sharing, and then click Internet Sharing.
    Make sure the source is Ethernet, and click Airport.

    Check the settings are right (such as setting up a password), then connect your iPod touch to it.
