Is there a possible way to add Skype to the iTouch?
I think there are already some topics like this, search skype and check em
out, maybe the threads will answer your qu
Will do, but if you have Skype and are able to convert it, you basically have a phone.
I'm not sure Skype or any VOIP app would work well on the touch, since so far on every network i've been connected to with my touch, latency is pretty much all over the place on the WiFi side.
makes sense, but how do you change the capabilities of a program. i can't seem to find it
Doesn't really matter as I don't know of any way to input sound into the iPod Touch yet.
Pretty much pointless at this stage.
we may have a solution here!

I await confirmation from these guys as to whether it will correctly support audio in

That skype for iphone site uses a phone to call another phone type thing. So if you already have a dedicated phone it will work, but no one can be using it while your trying to make a call on your itouch.
The bottom line is it sucks, since you need to have a phone in the first place. We have to wait for a skype client that installs on the itouch/iphone and a mic of course to actually have a full VOIP phone.
wait im really really confused...u actually used ur ipod touch as a phone???
