It's not the jailbreak used. It's what you install after the jailbreak

I know, we had been discussing battery tips on another thread.

I dont know if your intested. If not oh well.

    Here are a few Tips:
    1. Don't Multitask, If you have it disabale it.
    2. Dont use battery percentage through Sbsettings. Big drain. If you want battery percentage use plists method.
3.Dont use winterboard for wallpapers, if you want wallpaer use native wallpaper.
    4. Use only simple themes with winterboard. The more elaborate the theme the more battery, being used.
    5. avoid cydia extensions and twaeks like inconoclasm, SBrotatorer, LSrotater, infiniboard..etc
    6. Edit plists to kill unnecessary launch daemons.
    7. Install screen dimmer.
    8. Last and most important. Power cycle your ipod once a week. Run the battery below 10% then charge it untill full while running a program like battery doctor pro. It uses trickle charge to help truely full cycle.
