    Hi,

I want to connect my iPod to internet. I have a fast broadband connection at home but it's all cable. I cannot connect the iPod touch at home using WIFI.

I spend two hours walking through the city looking for a place to connect. After a long search and asking around I found a library in my city where I can connect to WIFI, but it's a 30 minute walk. I've done the walk three times now but I'm fed up with it.

How do other people deal with this problem? WIFI only works in a few rare places and thus is pretty much useless in most cases. Isn't it possible somehow to connect the iPod with a cable to my internet?

    Unfortunatly not :/

Why not just get a wifi router? They're pretty cheap!
I got mine for less than 20 bucks.

New egg! There was one for 15, but it was pretty crappy.
They're on amazon I think too.

    I found it in slickdeals.

Thanks for the answer. I had hoped it was possible with a cable. Seems I was hoping too much. I will take a look at those WIFI routers.

    I agree with 501rockstar,

have tried several wireless routers and found netgear to be the best, bought mine on sale for under $30
