I would like to know if it's possible to use Firefox, Internet Explorer or even Mobile Safari to browse through Cydia content?

If it's possible, may I know the URL please?

It would be great since I would then be able to share a Cydia link for an apps when I need to recommend it. Best of all, browsing in a desktop browser would be faster, and more enjoyable with a larger screen (those sponsor adverts are so tiny to read clearly!

    Thanks.

Actually, I don't think the page will look any bigger than it does already

And besides, even if you wanted to download something, you would have to download it there, and then transfer it through Wi-Fi or USB or whatever, and then there's the problem of installing it.

But for showing people I guess it's ok.

No, the section lists aren't WebPages. Only the package descriptions are. [And the featured page and the Manage page]

You could type in the repo and post the direct link to the app.....is that...ok?

Thanks SkylarEC for the insight although it's disappointing.

I forgot to mention I wished I could use Firefox to download an installation .package from Cydia on to my Mac. The purpose is so I can include it in my PwnageTool's "CydiaPackages" (assuming they are compatible) because the apps selections in PwnageTool is quite limited (especially from modmyi source), nor can we add new sources.

so if the repo is "repo.133.com"

in firefox or whatever go to "repo.1337.com"

search for the name of the app you want, and there will be a link where the app is stored.

go to that link, and BOOM! theres the app.

It would be in .deb, which is unable to be decrypted by anything other than a synaptic package manager (Cydia, Linux/UNIX package manager. Nothing to do this on windize).

That works! I've managed to download a .deb to play with on my Mac.

I'm on a Mac and there's a dpkg-deb for it. Actually, you own a Mac, a mini one; it's call the iPhone.

Just decompress/build your .deb in it.
