Is it ok to keep your ipod on all the time?

    I never turn mine off its been on for about two months now. Most of the time its in sleep mode.

    it will make your battery power less efficient

    ive been wondering this too
    is it better to keep ur ipod on msot of the time in sleep mode
    or turn it off completley
    and keep turning it on and off

    why wouldnt it be?as far as i know the older generation ipods werent even able to be "turned off" all you could do was put them in sleep mode, or restart them. so why wouldnt it be fine to just put it in sleep mode? its not like sleep mode eats away at the battery.

    in school i like to keep it in sleep mode but at home i turn it all the way off...before i go to sleep

    Whenever i turn it off sometimes..i turn it back on and half my battery is gone
    so i just put it on sleep mode all the time.

    Yea but the battery comes back.

    After I restart I lose like 5 battery but I gradually comes back if I just listen to music.

    Also I only restart usually. Only turn it off if I have to because I'm low on battery.

    this happens to me also, it like disappears and then when i carry on with what i want to do it comes back (quite fast) to what it was, i think this a bug lol but w/e it is i was shocked the first time it happened lol
