okay when i first got my ipt 4g
the first charge took about 4 hours to be fully charged
    its been 2 weeks
and my recent full charge only took 2 1/2 hours
i always drain battery completely before i charge
    anyone experiencing this?

Don't drain the battery completely before every charge! It wears it out quicker

By this, do you mean not using it until it automatically turns off or don't wait until it says Low Battery? Because I pretty much always use mine until it says 20% battery remaining, and then a little after that unless I can charge it. I rarely use it until it turns off.

It's not normal! Don't let your battery drain all the way dude.. That's only supposed to be done once a month

    what? lol
    seriously?

i personally feel like that makes no sense.
you are charging it A LOT more if you dont keep it until 20%.
and constantly charging things isnt good.. is it?

idk i always charged my ipod when it 20% on my 2G and i didnt have any problems

It's a lithium based battery, the battery doesn't get killed by continuous charging

Is it randomly jumping up by 20% or more just a few minutes after plugging it in? If so then you have a defective battery, take it back.
