Did anybody have no problems at all with their semi-tethered JB, because Mine works like a charm....not one issue with cydia or the like...

Whoa, you're the first person I've come across who hasn't suffered a problem.

I've just restored and am jailbreaking for tethered now as well. I expect you may run into problems sooner or later though.

so far I'v been on tethered and until either the untethered comes out or my iPod crashes, I'll stay away from semi-tethered

I'm only staying away from semi-tethered until I need to rejailbreak. Otherwise, I don't want to do everything I have done over again.

I screwed mine up the first time I installed it because I updated SQLite, but now I'm running everything fine. I'm considering going to tethered because I want to be able to use applications freely.

Yeah, it's alright if you can patch the apps, but if you don't know how, Tethered is better.
