iOS 4.0 Is it just me or does iOS 4.0 suck?

    At first, the release of iOS 4 seemed great. The folders looked awesome. The new standard dock looked awesome.
    Everything looked better, it was like seeing the Windows 7 previews when Vista was the latest.

    But as I've read threads here, I've kept myself from updating.
    From my point of view, it seems as it has the looks of windows 7 but speeds and functionality of Vista. (in other words, not so good, relatively)

    I've heard about;
    • Equalizer bugs
    • Battery drains (some people have had battery life improvements? wth?)
    • Wallpaper slowdowns (come on apple, this is just disappointing)

    and more
    At first I was excited about the new update and was actually going to update. As of today, after seeing all these threads lately, I'd rather stay on 3.1.3.

    I've never had a problem (or battery issue) with iOS 4.

    Then again, the 3GS is much more suited for 4.0, so meh.
    Multitasking is what makes it great for me.

    On September, Apple will release iOS 4.1 (like they do every year) wit a lot of bug fixes, I'm sure all of you concerns will be taken care of, you should wait in the meantime.

    My iPod was really pokey, crashy, and quiet when I had 4.0 on it.

    I agree. 4.0 is flawless for me.

    In 3.1.x, wifi would turn off while in standby. In iOS4, the wifi stays on during standby which accounts for most of the battery life being drained.

    Why do it manually when it used to be done automatically?
