i just updated my iPod Touch to the 2.0 firmware build 5a347. its an 8gb iPod and it says that it only has 7gbs and only 6.94 are available... is it only saying this but it really has like 8gbs and like 7.75 available or w/e or is this really true???!?!

it is because the new 2.0 software is bigger and it has to repartition the 2 drives (media and root) to accommodate for the bigger OS... This is my theory...

yep, i have also less space after the 2.0 update. maybe that explains the sluggishness of this new firmware. because it uses more space.
