    Ok,I have a ipod touch 3G 8GB which came with 3.1.2

I installed blackra1n but when i rebooted my ipod,it would'nt boot, itunes said it is in recovery mode.So i went into DFU mode and tried restoring my my ipod but itunes said my ipod does not support 3.1.2!!!

Now last evening i plugged my ipod into my pc and it itunes does not detect it!!When i turn on my ipod i get the ipod logo asking me to plug it in the pc.

    What do i do now??

re-run blackra1n, its a "feature" called tethered jailbreak.

tethered devices, needed to be re jailbroken to boot

It's a tethered jailbreak. You need to use blackra1n to boot your iPod. Don't worry, everything will still be there. Welcome! And make sure that in the future you search first!

And before you say that because you have an 8GB that it's technically a 2G, for blackra1n purposes, it's not.
