Is fring actually free to call out to people?
I mean ive signed up to a few SIP things that are usable in fring but one of mine says i used up all my credit and i have to pay to get more talk time...
didnt say it in fring but the app on my computer, but just wondering if you have to actually pay to call using fring or do i have to add credit to make more than like one call per SIP provider thing?

I'd like to know as well.

If Fring isn't completely free, is there another VOIP app that is?

it all depends on your Sip-Voip provider. you pay them and enter the settings into fring. Fring is theoretically 'Free' and 'Free to call' since it cost's nothing from fring the company.

    not that i know of.
but let me save you some time. i've already tried fring and found the delay to be so bad that its unusable.
i'm trying to get someone to recommend another program with less delay that still accepts our skype info.
btw: i think i pay $3.00 a month for unlimited 'out' calling from skype. not too shabby in my mind...
