you know how ppl say it breaks your battery when you charge it a lot and that its better to wait for it to drain all the way to empty? Is this true? Or is it ok to charge your iPod whenever you like?

well think of it this way. the more times you charge it, the less amount of battery youll have. so if you constantly unplug it when its full then plug it in 3 minutes later...yeah. it could kinda decrease battery life

Yes. Overcharging your iPod or anything such as a cellphone for that matter, will "swell the battery" so to speak. Thus decreasing maximum battery life.

wat no....its done by chrge cycles...so its better to keep it plugged than leave it unplugged....chrging for 100hrs is 1 charge cycle....so in my opinion charge it as long as possible

Still, I'd just play it safe and let the battery run a bit before pluggin it back in, mitch90.

I charge mine constantly and the battery still lasts as long as it did when I first got it

is there something on the iPod that tells your battery life in terms of percent or hour?
