Well when my computer go back from the shop and i had to reinstall itunes and stuff it said, itunes has detected a new ipod, would you like to set up new ipod?

there was 3 options, cancel, erase and sync, and the other one (i forget what it is) but i think its something like transfer purchuses

Anyways, i clicked cancel because i didnt want to do it just yet and then a new popup came up and it said something about wanting to send my ipod information to apple, this box had 3 options, send, dont send and details, i clicked details and it showed all my ipods activity!

it was very very very long, and it went back to the last time i restored, i read some of it and it said what ive searched, youtube videos ive watched, when i listen to music and everything, and because it was 2.0.1 it said CRASH every now and then

I obviously didnt send this information

I wanted to share this and im wondering if this is normal?

It wouldn't surprise me.... I mean think of it like this, you pay Apple for your ipod/iphone, and then they can monitor your activity and get essentially free market research of what people do most, provided you say you want to send it.

People spy on you and monitor your activity all the time.

You can turn that off. There's a tutorial for it on this forum somewhere.

yeah I sometimes get that too. although I always choose "don't send"

but a whole list huh? I didn't know that.. that sounds a bit unethical doesn't it?
