Is a US bought I-pod touch same as in Europe?

    I'm buying I pods for family in Europe. I just want to make sure they are the same and will work properly.

    Yes, other than the fact that maximum volume on the US version might be higher, due to health regulations on devices intended for sale in Europe.

    The only difference would be that, and probably the price. Europe is pretty expensive now on electrical items, even more expensive than the UK, which is saying something.
