guys i need to know if the limit for the bitrate of a music playing on an ipod touch 2G/3G is 320kbps? because i want to listen to some of my music which has bitrates of up to 470+kbps and most of them are metal. and i dont want to convert them to just 320kbps and risk losing sound quality

320 is the format limit for mp3, for aac I'm not sure. I seriously doubt you will notice any difference. Just try them as-is. if it stutters, down convert them.

hey can i also ask if its possible for the ipod touch to play licensed music directly fom cd? i tried it first by using my cellphone but it wont play , hmm maybe it's because of the license. and i just want to take precautions
