Is 3.0's Wi - Fi stronger or is it just me

    Hey I was outside my house the other day when I turned on my wifi I was running beta1 of 3.0 when it picked up more wi fi then usual so I tested something I got my friends iPod 2G running 2.2.1 it didn't pick anything up but my one does??? Can anyone explain this

    More than likely has driver upgrades so yeah

    Yup, they keep upgrading everything so I assume that they also upgraded the wi-fi range.

    When i was on 2.2.1 i picked up around 3 - 4 wireless networks depending on where i was in my house. With the 3 beta 3 it picks up 8 - 9 depending on where i am in my house.

    I've heard that it isn't STRONGER, just that the threshold for showing up on the available netwrorks list has been lowered.

    No I can connect to the other networks speeds wonderful um
    There is also a network named hpsetup signal 90 I can connect but no Internet

    i think hpstetup is for printers or something... i get it to and doesnt work

    yeah, linksys is the most common thing i link up to
    hpsetup is for printers and such
