Is 3.0 really worth it for a JB'd touch?

    Firstly, it costs $10

Secondly, most of the features only apply to the iPhone. The only things I'm interested in really are it being faster, and the new C+P functionality.

Finally, I'd have to upgrade, then JB my iPod again, losing all my Cydia apps, music etc in the process. It'll take a while to sync it all back and back up my Cydia stuff with SSH.

So yeah, should I bother? Or wait until I have the time to re-JB and re-sync everything?

Well soon after a couple of updates apps will stop working for 2.2.1 won't they? I'm just assuming they will.

Chicken4eve suggested you use apt-backup. I've never used it, but I've heard it is good.

I'm backing up my JB apps as we speak via SSH.

Can someone quickly explain the process to me? I upgrade to 3.0 with iTunes, then just get the new JB software or whatever that will JB it?

Or: is there even JB software for 3.0 out yet?

Do I need to completely format the iPod at some point?

    Thanks.
