hey, so i am on a jb 1.1.3 8gb ipod touch and i need a very reliable way to jb 1.1.4 from 1.1.3. or is it worth it? I heard that the volume levels in 1.1.4 have increased which can be ok, any other good things? and also should i upgrade because it might have the components for the SDK? thanks

No.... While I have 1.1.4 on my iPhones (3 of them) - I tried to "upgrade/jb" my Touch (16GB) to 1.1.4. There is nothing in 1.1.4 - that I can see - to warrant an upgrade/JB. So - as I sit here restoring my Touch BACK to 1.1.3, nope - just hang tight..

Yep..... One is AT&T bound (JB), another T-Mobile (JB/unlock) and another Digicel Haiti (JB/unlock - I'm building an orphanage in Haiti, so I go there a lot...).. Two are 8GB (BL 3.9) and the other is a 16GB (BL 4.6)....

Well, there's no reason to upgrade, yet. I'd just stick with 1.1.3 for now. When the SDK comes out, it will probably be the case that you need 1.1.4 to install applications with it. But until then, the only real gains are a boost in volume, a more stable version of Safari and a supposedly faster version of YouTube. Nothing life-changing.
