    Hey guys,

I was hoping you could figure this one out for me.

    So, here's the problem.

My ipod froze up and nothing was working, so I held the two buttons for awhile and the ipod reset. When I turned it back on, a little picture of the connector cable was linked with an arrow to the iTunes logo. I can't do anything else, all that comes up when I turn it on is this logo.

When I try to actually connect with iTunes on my computer, it won't let me because I need to enter my pin. But I can't enter my pin until I can connect to iTunes. But I can't connect to iTunes until I can enter my pin.....help?

I was going to just reset the whole thing, but my entire hard drive crashed last month and I lost all the computer backup of my ipod's songs and apps.

    So.....what do I do?

    Thanks in advance!

There are ways to get out of Recovery Mode that sometimes work. I don't remember what they are exactly, but I remember that ziPhone had that feature a while back.

You don't have to back up if it is in ur computer, just try a DFU restore

I'm pretty sure that only applies to Apps. I tried that once before and had to pay for a song again.

Well, get most of my songs from CDs and friends, I've spent maybe $40 on iTunes at the most.

But how can I restore the ipod if I can't unlock it?

Ok guys, I need some help here. I haven't been able to use my touch for weeks.

I can't even restore it because it won't connect until I can unlock it, and I can't unlock it until I connect.

    What can I do?
