How do I get it to stay open longer than a half second? It opens and then closes immediately and I really need to use it. Can anyone help lol? I feel like such a noob.

You don't double click on it to launch. You have to enter "iRecovery.exe -f" or whatever in your Command Prompt window.

I am already jailbroken. I tried to add a custom boot logo AFTER I had already set up my iPod to boot in verbose mode and I neglected to do this:

Use QuickFreedom to enter the Pre-Jailbreak Commands.
