    EDIT: Solved, thanks C000LIN

I cannot for the life of me find out why iRecovery keeps returning this when I try to run it (irecovery -f [filepath]). I have libUSB installed and the test program acknowledges the existance of my ipod
I am using the ibbs file from the 2.1.1 ipsw. I believe I am inserting the command prompts correctly as well

I have tried restarting my computer. I have tried using another computer. I have even tried restoring to 2.2.1 before putting it back into DFU mode. I have rextracted the 2.1.1 ipsw three times now and redownloaded it once. I have redownloaded irecovery countless times.

What can I possibly be missing/messing up? This is really pissing me off

EDIT: Yes, I have searched for this problem, and it seems a few other people have it as well, but no one seems to have posted an answer.

Well the only thing I can say right now is to redownload iRecovery, I guess.

Tried the one linked on ChronicDev's website to no avail, which brings my total up to three different websites and I have tried all 3 archiving programs on my computer: 7zip, WinRAR, and the one built into windows.

I guess I could try compiling it on my computer, but I doubt that would fare any differently seeing as I've tried it on another computer already
