I already have my iPod on a tethered jailbreak, and I'm trying to get it to be on run rs without having to restore (nate's method). I cd'd and it now looks like this:

    C:\Documents and Settings\(username)\Desktop\iRecovery_SVN>

When I do the 1st command:

    iRecovery -f ibss211.dfu

it says iRecovery is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

    Help?

this is because it's not in the PATH of the terminal application you're using. you must put it in C:\windows\system32 i believe. or, cd to the directory of the program, and you can execute it from there.

I'm sorry I'm mentally challenged at this kind of stuff lol. iRecovery_SVN is located on my desktop, I extracted it. So I need to open a new cmd and type cd C:\windows\system32?

okay well if you downloaded what was on the svn, then it's uncompiled source code. you'll need mingw32 to compile it.

You mean the stuff in the folder I have to download again? And is mingw32 a program I have to download?

Do I enter this after I cd? Because I tried that command after I cd'd and I got the same error.
