Hello everyone, I have a small problem. One of my friends has a broken iPod and I am trying to fix it with iRecovery, but when they type
    Code:
    irecovery -f ibss211.dfu
and unplug and plug back in the screen won't turn white as it should. The iPod IS in DFU and we have tried all the available USB ports. What is the problem?

hmm... do you have any other computers around there? you might wanna try it on another computer. and oh if the computer's a PC then dont use the ports on the front side. use the ones on the back. (front ones are bridged to the real root)

It has a connect to iTunes screen constantly. My method will fix it, but I can't open a shell without that white screen

wow. thats really a bigg annoying problem. maybe you wanna re-jailbreak and try to run the command again. that might help (but that idea usually comes out from hell, and if you REALLY have no other options left.)
