    There's a thread for problems already. (http://www.ifans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=309893&page=19)

    - Unresponsive home button
    - Ticking sound when using the rear mic while Wi-Fi is enabled
    - Overheating (causes laggyness, slowness, freezes, device becomes EXTREMELY hot)
    - Freezing
    - Laggy
    - Possible change of DFU
    - Light Leakage
    - Metal 3.5mm housing causes issues with male/male connectors
    - Pictures won't auto rotate when using the accelerometer
    - Inaccurate battery reading while charging

I'd say yours is defective. It's not supposed to be laggy.

I noticed the lag when it is not hot also. But it is not a defect but a deficiency. I am sooooo looking forward to the 5th gen ipt next Sept.

Off topic but I'm still amazed at how something freezes by overheating. heh.

On topic: Mine was fine the 10 mins I fooled around Epic Citadel.

Yeah, possibly. It's WAY faster than the 3G so it's either overheating over time and becoming sluggish, or it's faulty.

    Sorry for the late reply.

Things like this sometimes get ironed out as later iPod Touches are manufactured in the coming weeks.
