    I'm considering getting the 64 GB 3G.

I'm looking for more space (for photos and a few games), more speed, and a recorder. With 8GB, I've already run out of space on the 2G, and want to get a second one for work.

But the questions I have are:

    1. Is all that space more likely to speed things up or slow them down?

    2. Does 64 GB seem to excessive ? (would I get by with 32 Gb as well?)

    3. Will I wind up kicking myself, realizing I would have done just as well with 32 2G?

I read somewhere that the 3G is really just a mild update instead of a new model. That really doesn't make a difference...6 vs half dozen...it's all labels...But are the comparisons made by bitter 3G owner wannabes who couldn't afford to upgrade, or disgruntled 3G victim with buyers remorse who traded in their 2G for a 3G? The source makes a big difference in determining the facts, if that makes any sense.

Any thoughts? I opologize if this is a redundant thread.

The processor is a speed improvement, so they will work better.
All apps will work with the 3g

The 3rd Generation 32GB and 64GB both use the same updated, faster processor.

To answer your question, the apps you have on your 2G will perform better and faster on the new 3rd Generation 64GB.

No. 64GB only has more memory.

i'd say if you can fill 60-70 percent of the 32gb immediately, you should get the 64gb to account for your media/app collection growing.
