    Thanks for the hostility...really appreciate you jumping to conclusions. I did in fact pay for the update as i will do with this next update.

    Is there someone else that can help me apart from a little kid? thanks

    Well i guess it doesnt matter that much becuase 2.0 will be out in a few hours or so...and that includes the update but its annoying not having a working apps update as i cant check my mail on my ipod now.

    edit: SADLY, The same thing is happening to me... gonna try again, but wont restore the data...

    I've got the exact same problem, might try going back to a previous version of itunes see if that works

    edit: nope, that didn't work. It just came up with a different error message (Ex000003) or something

    it should sync the applications, the next time you sync your iPod...

    You might have to sync a few times...

    Also make sure you still have your .ipa, just search your computer for any files that end in the .ipa extension...

    yeah i've got that file. comes up with the error (-4) everytime. ive restored my touch about 4 times now still not syncing
