    Hi All,
I have a new 64gb touch bought last week, When I switch it on the loading page is so big that just the battery icon bit fills the page and therefore I cannot do anything with it. it seems that the loading screen is about 4-5 times normal size. I have looked through these pages but cannot finf any answers. connecting it to the computer and going through 'Restore' makes no difference.

This has to be a rare fault and needs the input of you 'experts' out there please.

Put it into DFU mode and restore... usually works. And if you havn't jailbroken it yet, take it to an Apple store.

    Hi,
I held both the on/off button plus the large front button at the same time and the screen then showed the little apple sign, then went black. When i pressed the on.off button again, I still get the huge screen picture whereby the battery icon fills the page again, so I am back to where I started from. loThank.

... Try leaving it in the charger for a long long time. The battery icon could mean you need to charge your iPod.

    Hi Guys,
Thanks for all your replies. The problem is that the loading page is at least 4-5 times as large as it should be. The battery icon shows almost a full charge. because the loading page is so large I cannot even swipe the sliding control at the bottom. In fact I cannot do anything but go mad slowly. lol. I have to go to bed now as its very late here in the UK (11-50pm). Please continue to suggest cures. I will be up early to-morrow to read your expert answers.Thanks.
