Okay so after doing this whole 1.1.3 JB thing... any music I buy off of the iTunes WiFi store on the iPod... it won't sync over to iTunes on my PC. It doesn't even see that the music is there. It plays on the iPod fine but iTunes on my PC doesn't even know it's there.

Yeah same thing happens to me.

Just to clarify SYNC FIX DOESN'T WORK

IT ERASES ALL SETTINGS AND BOOKMARKS

Ahhhhhh, but I just got mine working perfectly, any way to make them sync.

BTW the downloaded songs are located in var/root/media/Downloaded I think, that's how I get them off

This fixes the sync problem YAY>>

So what fixed it was ssh to the ipod and

    Code:
     cd /var/mobile/Media
    chown -R mobile:mobile *
    Make sure to include asterisk

I'm using WinSCP which has Putty... do I just go into Putty and type those two commands and then restart the iPod?

You should have just used iJailbreak in the first place.

    Safer, faster, cleaner.

There was no iJailbreak to be able to do it in the first place at the time.

    Good news: it worked!

Bad news: I have to do it every time I download new songs onto the iPod

Hey, we all don't have that kind of patience.
