Hi, I recently attempted ipodtouchmaster's 1.1.3 jailbreak, and everything worked fine for the first few days. Then, without warning, by iPod suddenly was put in recovery mode. I didn't even touch it! I then connected it to iTunes, and it says that my iPod was in recovery mode. I'm now afraid to jailbreak 1.1.3 again. Does anyone know a foolproof jailbreak that doesn't suddenly go into recovery mode. Or, if jailbreaking 1.1.3 is even worth it? Thanks in advance.

    EDIT: I have a 16gb

Search. <--- I'm gonna get flamed AGAIN for that.

But anyway. There is no one FOOLPROOF Jailbreak for 1.1.3.

ZiPhone is probably your close to best bet for 8 GB iPod Touches.

Dev Team's Soft Jailbreak isn't even actually 1.1.3. Its 1.1.2 masquerading as 1.1.3.

iJailbreakmobile I think is down, not really sure, haven't tried Soft Jailbreaking in a while.

I say just stay on Regular 1.1.3 or Jailbreak 1.1.1/1.1.2.

if you're going to jailbreak again, I reccomend 1.1.1 because it pretty much has no bugs

    or

if you can wait like 5 days, the SDK will be out and you can see what that's like and if it sucks then jailbreak again

iJailBreakMobile worked for me 2 days ago. Go ahead and try that. Although I did use ZiPhone on my 8 gig iPod Touch, I used the other method on my friends 16 gig.

If it goes into recovery mode again

    http://cre.ations.net/creation/ibrickr

    Go there
    Download iBrickr v.0.91
    Extract the file
    open iBrickr.exe
Click boot iphone or wtvr (same as ipod)
    wait a bit
ipod screen will turn red or green
if red it is fixing itself and will be up and running in a sec
if green somethings wrong and it must be restored using itunes

    Hope this helped

Don't worry, ZiPod touch will be released sometime this weekend, you wont have to worry about this anymore.
