The MAC Address? No, that's hardburned into your iPod. But you can try spoofing it.

I'm pretty sure StealthMac is in Cydia under Networking? I don't know, I've never had to spoof it, my bio teacher is cool and lets us use his wifi

Zibri managed to spoof it with ZiPhone so that it was his name in ASCII, so it's definitely possible.

Even f you managed to change your mac address it wont get you the wifi connection. If you cant see the wifi name in the networking section on your ipod then it is hidden. To find it you must get the name of the wifi address and the password and enter these in. Even after that it still may not work, like in my school they have a proxy which blocks all connections except those which go through a certain ip address.

    But good luck.

I can see it, I can connect to it. My iPod picks up perfect signal. I just can't manage to make the weather and stuff update.

Then they would be blocking certain IP addresses or using a proxy server.
Download mobile terminal from cydia and type in "ping 192.168.1.1" (without "").
if it works then i have no idea if it doesnt work then on your school laptop while connected to the wifi go into settings and find something called the proxy server or something and then put that into your ipod (somewhere in the settings for wifi) and if your schools setup is average you might be able to get in. If not then your screwed.

Oh BTW do you know the actual wifi password?
