Yeah, that's what I thought. But personally, I think there will be a camera on it, just because Apple stressed it in the 3GS.
True, but if you think about it they might not until they add something even more to the phone. They'll probably want more people to buy the more expensive product.
Yeah, but they will want a bigger profit for the R&D they did for the camera and implementation. Anyways, they will need a 'killer' feature this year, just like last. Last year it was "The first iPod with a speaker". This year, "Thr first iPod with a camera", maybe.
Good point , a camera in the iPod Touch would be awesome! Now all apple needs to do is add OBEX for sending pictures and I'll be good. Though I'm not sure how likely OBEX would be though
Heck, I just hate how Apple inches towards new features. It is soooo annoying. But, since the new iPod is 3.1 means that it will prolly have some pretty new features (camera, camera, camera....) just because it isn't iPod touch 2.2. But anyways, if they wanted to make it perfect, it'd be Camera, GPS, magnetometer, and ummm... Voice Control, with a built-in mic. That'd be great. And sooo not gonna happen. Oh well :-(
Nice find man. If there was a camera in the iPod touch 3G I wouldn't care as much about not having an iPhone... that is of course if I upgrade anyway cause I only got mine a few months ago.
Yeah, it is kind of annoying but oh well. We decided to go with, and stick with apple. I would like to have all of the iPhone features (except the phone part) without the price tag.
Yea, the chances of that I expect are not very high because then people would most of the time not get an iPhone. They might add things like GPS somehow not 3G internet for many reasons like that you need a sim card anyway and that would really put people off the iPhone, anyway I digress.
Well, personally, if Palm were to release a device with webOS that wasn't a phone, I would consider getting it, instead of iPod touch 3rd gen. But sshh, thats a secret! ;-)
