After updating a few Cydia apps, it prompted me to restart springboard, I clicked the button and the loading circle starting spinning then froze. I waited for 5 minutes, then force reset. waited, iPod showed the Apple logo, dim as it always starts, lit up on Apple logo for another 10 minutes, then I saw the loading circle again, and it froze, then flashed white, then reset itself.

Plugged it into my computer and tried to put it into recovery mode, but it wont do it, any suggestions?

They were updates for iFile, LockInfo, and a few LockInfo plugins.

Ill try blackra1n, even though i've turned my iPod off several times since.

    This is strange

EDIT: Great, now Blackra1n isnt working, giving me the ASL file extension error. After I get that it gives me another missing extension.

If that doesn't work then your best bet is to put it in DFU Mode and restore. The weird thing is that I have a ipod touch 4g on 4.1 while ur on a whole different generation and firmware

    I dislike iOS4.

I'm trying to keep it on 3.1.2
