Ipod wont show up under "My Computer"

    When i plug in my itouch, it will NOT show up under "my computer", however, when i plug in my mom's ipod nano, it shows up under "my computer".
    Can someone help me?

    That is because the iPod touch cannot be used in Disk mode.

    You could, if you know what I mean, but not to show under "My Computer"

    You could access it with several software, like "diskaid" "iPhone PC suite" "iPhone Browser"
    But they are not under "My Computer"

    ok, i needed it to do that so i can transfer music from my ipod to my itunes library.

    Your options include:

    SSH via WinSCP, CuteFTP, etc (Need WiFi)
    TOTALCMD with T-PoT plugin (USB)
    iPhoneBrowser (USB)

    yes apple disabled the my computer function.

    I find ssh is best for smaller files and permission setting

    And total commander for large files e.g roms

    I highly recommend WinSCP just google it, its very good, good GUI and allows you to run commands when you get good
