    Hello,
My iPod won't go into DFU mode, even after several attempts. Can anyone help?

My iPod is jailbroken, using Cywood.(non tethered, i think. It's whichever type of jailbreak requires you to repeatedly plug in the ipod, and go through part of the jailbreaking process, just to charge, or sync the ipod with new stuff.) When using Cywood to try and allow the ipod to recharge in the computer, I can't put the ipod into DFU mode. (Which I believe is step 5)

It's just dead, no battery, and I can't use cywood to allow the ipod to be recharged.

    1. Dude, just use spirit
    2. Pull up iTunes, plug it in, if Apple wants to do something to it, do it. Let it recharge then put it into DFU mode. You can't put it into DFU mode if the battery is dead.
