Ipod Wont Connect To Itunes

    i just bought a ipod touch 8gb and when i connect it to itunes it gives me this
    iTunes could not connect to the iPod "iPod" because an unknown error occurred (0xE8000025).
    can anybody help me with this?

    simple fix:

    quit itunes
    go to:
    /System/Library/Preferences/

    delete the itunes .plist file, restart itunes and go thru the first-run dialog again, then ur touch should be fine

    doesnt matter that ur new to iTunes, unless your new to computers you should know what he means. Its a folder list. If you dont know how to find it then you should not own an iPod Touch.

    i went thru all folders of itunes and i did't find /System/Library/Preferences/ and the only .plist files i found where the languages

    This is only if you have a mac. You have to go the "Library" Then click the folder that says Preferences. Delete the iTunes.plist file.

    i Dont have mac, i have windows xp media center

    Okay. Reboot your computer. End any processes with the word apple, itunes, and ipod. Start iTunes. Try.

    ok i rebooted ended apple mobile device now itunes cannot find the ipod device
