Alright so I tried to install Danimator's Customize and it didn't work and I tried to do the symlink thing and I screwed up. So I guess I just gave up. Anyway, I tried connecting my iPod to the computer, and I noticed that my computer and iTunes don't realize that its there. I've tried putting my iPod into recovery mode and I still can't get it to work. Seriously, please help, I'm very frustrated right now and if you can't help don't tell me to search.

all i could say is try another computer..another usb cord..or call apple...maybe even reinstall itunes so the mobile device driver support is reinstalled and thats what makes your computer recognize the ipod
also go into services and check if that service is on
