ok so i installed something, and it said reboot, so i rebooted, problem is it's been booting for 2 hrs, died then i plugged it in, still booting.

i can ssh in for about 30 seconds, and i dont even know the location of the thing i installed, its the mobileinstallation patch http://hackint0sh.org/forum/340693-post14.htm so i can put my OWN apps on tht i made in xcode

so should i just restore it (i dont hav the custom firmware on my comp) or ill just upgrade it to 2.2.1 and then re jailbreak it?

will this work beacuse it will erase everything on it, so it should boot rite?

unless someone has a better idea...

or if anyone knos the location of the patch and if i should just delete it, tht works too.

DFU or just rejailbreak after a clean restore/upgrade to 2.2.1.

odd, same thing happend to mine so this is how i fixed.
    -turn off the ipod
-turn it on so it is booting then open itunes
-wait a while till itunes detects it
-it will complain that it cannot sync and cannot backup
-hit the restore button and it will restore to factory defaults.
you can try to Re install the patch but i dont reccomend it if it is going to explode on you everytime. good luck!
